The Vengaboys Are Coming - Jan 2012

AND EVERYBODYS JUMPING

It is time, one of the biggest euro bands of the nineties is BACK. The Vengaboys are coming to Australia and bring their uniquely suggestive discography of hits with them. With a new album out 'Rocket To Your Uranus' and a collection of old hits such as Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom and We're Going To Ibiza, they will be hitting up all the major cities. Already sold out in Fremantle and Melbourne, those who can still get tickets would be crazy not to, especially when tickets are only going for $40.

"It’s time to dust off that tatty old party pass because the Vengabus is due at any minute. And God forbid you miss it. 90s European chart toppers, the Vengaboys, are heading to Australia this summer with a brand new album, rather gloriously entitled ‘Rocket To Your Uranus’.
The new album marks a sparkling return to form for the party-centric foursome. Back after a brief hiatus with their tongues firmly in cheek and doing what they do best."

Parklife After-Party

A few weeks back (Fuzzy, the guys behind Parklife) reported that none of the acts would be doing sideshows alongside this years festival. As we got closer to the date after-parties started to emerge.

If Simian Mobile Disco(UK) or Diplo(USA) were two acts you were keen and not heading to the festival, or wanted to see twice then your in luck.

This sunday after the festival Fake Club club hosts the Official After Party.

"This massive party could quite possibly be the biggest club gig that Sydney has ever seen with pre sales available online as well as door sales on the night of course. Running over 2 levels at the now infamous FakeClub, this will be something of folklore that people speak about for years to come. The hype since the announcement this morning has been crazy with people calling this "the best thing to ever happen to Sydney"

Simian Mobile Disco are bringing this massive light show (see links below) on their current tour including Parklife this show will be second to none. Also when interviewed about this being their first Parklife Tour James from SMD told Pulse that they're in the process of working on a new album so there's some exciting new tunes coming to these two Sydney shows on the weekend with an intimate club gig at Fake giving them the freedom to play whatever they want.

Diplo's last show outside of a festival in 2010, saw him command the stage at Metro for a completely sold out show with 1300+ people there to witness this maestro at work

With his mash-up mixtapes, Diplo found and created a sound where his musical tastes - '80s pop, electronica, Dirty South hip-hop, and his major influence, Miami bass music -intersect"

Tickets are $40 +bf and you can grab them from Moshtix

If your still keen to go to the festival check out Nicks post about the festival from not long ago.

    Spicks & Specks Live

"Adam, Alan and Myf to hit the road with a national live tour to celebrate seven years of Spicks and Specks.

After 277 episodes and more than 150 guests, Adam, Alan and Myf decided to call it a day and draw the curtain on seven years of Spicks and Specks on ABC-TV.

Now in homage to Whispering Jack himself, they are heading out on the road to say good bye for the first time (and actually the last time). Spicks and Speck-tacular - The Finale is a brand new production, loosely based on Australia's favourite music trivia show, putting Adam, Alan and Myf back on stage together with surprises, laughs, memories, live music and appalling choreography."

You don't miss your chance to say goodbye to Alan, Myf and Adam when the tour stops in Sydney, Wednesday 15th November - Friday 18th.

This will ony set you back $65 and its at the Hordern Pavilion, Fox Studios.
